Volleyball Recap: Loma Linda Academy Takes a Loss

Loma Linda Academy lost against Woodcrest Christian back in March, and unfortunately they wound up with the same result on Thursday. The Roadrunners lost 3-0 to the Royals.

While Loma Linda Academy ultimately came up short, they didn't go down without a fight: they scored at least 19 points in every set they played. The match finished with set scores of 25-19, 25-21, 25-21.

Loma Linda Academy has traveled a rocky road recently, having lost five of their last six contests. That's put a noticeable dent in their 13-12 record this season. As for Woodcrest Christian, the win (which was their third in a row) raised their record to 16-3.

Coming up, Loma Linda Academy will take on Troy at 4:30 p.m. on Monday. As for Woodcrest Christian, they will be playing at home against Redlands Adventist Academy at 5:00 p.m. on Monday. The timing is sure in the Royals' favor as the squad sits on ten straight wins at home while the Bulldogs have been banged up by three consecutive losses on the road.
