Basketball Recap: Bibb County Takes a Loss

Bibb County lost against Paul W. Bryant back in December of 2024 and unfortunately they wound up with the same result on Thursday. The Bibb County Choctaws were outmatched by the Paul W. Bryant Stampede and fell 51-22. While losing is never fun, the Choctaws can't take it too hard given the team's big disadvantage in MaxPreps' Alabama basketball rankings (they are ranked 265th, while the Stampede are ranked 101st).

Bibb County has traveled a rocky road recently having lost four of their last five matchups, which put a noticeable dent in their 9-11 record this season. As for Paul W. Bryant, the victory made it two in a row for them and bumps their season record up to 17-10.

Bibb County and Brookwood will face off at 5:00 p.m. on Friday without much rest having both just played. As for Paul W. Bryant, they will square off against Central at 7:00 p.m. on Saturday. Central will roll in looking for their fifth straight win, something Paul W. Bryant surely won't give up without a fight.
