Football Recap: Bishop England Comes Up Short + How To Watch

Bishop England was the 28-24 winner over Bluffton when they last played one another back in October of 2024, but their luck changed this time around. The Battling Bishops fell 31-24 to the Bobcats on Friday. The defensive woes were uncharacteristic for the Battling Bishops, who until this contest were averaging 15 points allowed.

William Donato threw for 49 yards on 11 of 19 attempts.

Aedan McCarthy was his usual excellent self, throwing for 231 yards and two touchdowns, while also rushing for 47 yards and one score for Bluffton. Kordell Holley helped out on the ground, rushing for 92 yards and a rushing touchdown.

Bishop England has traveled a rocky road recently, having lost three of their last four games. That's put a noticeable dent in their 6-3 record this season. As for Bluffton, their win was their fourth straight at home, which pushed their record up to 7-2.
