Softball Recap: Spanish Fort Takes a Loss

Spanish Fort has relied on a stalwart pitchers averaging 2.59 runs allowed per game, but that average took a hit on Thursday. They lost 10-3 to the Saraland Spartans. For those keeping track at home, that's the biggest defeat the Toros have suffered since March 25th.

Haley Hart made the most of her time at bat despite the final result and got on base in all four of her plate appearances with one stolen base and one run.

This is the second loss in a row for Spanish Fort and nudges their season record down to 39-12. As for Saraland, they are on a roll lately: they've won six of their last seven matches. That's provided a nice bump to their 31-11-1 record this season.

As of now, neither Spanish Fort nor Saraland have any future games scheduled.
