Basketball Recap: Center Point-Urbana Takes a Loss

Center Point-Urbana and Wahlert squared off in some playoff action on Saturday, but Center Point-Urbana had to settle for second. They took a 48-43 hit to the loss column at the hands of the Wahlert Golden Eagles. The Stormin' Pointers were not able to make up for their defeat to the Golden Eagles from their previous meeting back in February of 2024.

Center Point-Urbana's loss dropped their record down to 15-9. As for Wahlert, the victory was the third in a row for them, bringing their record for this year to 16-5.

Center Point-Urbana does not have any more games scheduled as of now. As for Wahlert, they will challenge Spirit Lake on March 3rd. One thing working in Spirit Lake's favor is that they have posted at least 55 points in their last three contests.
