Soccer Recap: Summit Academy Starts Season with Loss at Home

Summit Academy unfortunately couldn't capitalize on their home-pitch advantage in their season opener. They lost 8-0 to the Kearns Cougars on Wednesday.

The win (which was Kearns' third in a row) raised their record to 3-0.

Summit Academy wasted no time getting back out on the pitch and has already played their next contest, a 1-0 loss against South Summit on the 10th. As for Kearns, they also didn't take long to hit the pitch again: they've already played their next match, a 7-1 victory against Providence Hall on the 6th.
