Beaumont finds home court redemption against Redlands

Recap: Beaumont Cougars vs. Redlands Terriers

There's no place like home for the Beaumont Cougars, who bounced back after a tough loss on the road last Wednesday. They walked away with a 48-39 win over Redlands on Friday. Given Beaumont's advantage in MaxPreps' California basketball rankings (they are ranked 169th, while Redlands is ranked 512th), the result wasn't entirely unexpected.

Beaumont had a senior duo take command as Adrian Farias scored 14 points along with six rebounds and four steals and Payton Joseph scored 15 points along with eight rebounds. The team also got some help courtesy of Vince tracy Capuras, who scored four points along with five steals.

Beaumont has been performing well recently as they've won three of their last four contests, which provided a nice bump to their 15-6 record this season. As for Redlands, they bumped their record down to 9-10 with that defeat, which was their ninth straight on the road dating back to last season.

Beaumont will face off against Cajon at 6:45 p.m. on Wednesday. As for Redlands, they will be playing at home against Redlands East Valley at 6:30 p.m. on Wednesday.
