Basketball Recap: Olivia Evans Leads a Balanced Attack to Beat Southampton Academy

Brunswick Academy won the last time they faced Southampton Academy and things went their way on Thursday too. The Brunswick Academy Vikings walked away with a 38-27 victory over the Southampton Academy Raiders. Given the Vikings' advantage in MaxPreps' Virginia basketball rankings (they are ranked sixth, while the Raiders are ranked 80th), the result wasn't entirely unexpected.

Brunswick Academy's win was the result of several impressive offensive performances. One of the most notable came from Olivia Evans, who posted seven points. Lexi Howerton was another key player, putting up seven points.
