Baseball Recap: Walnut Comes Up Short

It was a proper cat-fight when Walnut took on Hatley on Tuesday. The Wildcats lost 17-5 to the Tigers. The loss continues a trend for the Wildcats in their meetings with the Tigers: they've now lost seven in a row.

Walnut's defeat dropped their record down to 6-10. As for Hatley, the win made it two in a row for them and bumps their season record up to 11-13.

Looking ahead, Walnut will face off against Middleton at 6:35 p.m. on Thursday. As for Hatley, they will square off against Calhoun City at 7:00 p.m. on Thursday.
