Volleyball Recap: St. Mary Finds Home Court Redemption Against Howard

There's no place like home for St. Mary, who bounced back after a loss on the road on Monday. Everything went their way against the Howard Tigers on Tuesday as they made off with a 3-0 victory. That result was just more of the same for these two, as the Cardinals also won the last time the pair played back in September of 2024.

The 3-0 score doesn't show just how dominant St. Mary was: they took every set by at least 12 points. The match finished with set scores of 25-13, 25-10, 25-10.

St. Mary is on a roll lately: they've won five of their last six games. That's provided a nice bump to their 9-3 record this season. As for Howard, this is the second loss in a row for them and nudges their season record down to 3-12.

Coming up, St. Mary will challenge Arlington at 7:15 p.m. on Thursday. As for Howard, they will head out on the road to take on Viborg/Hurley at 7:15 p.m. on Thursday.
