If Colleton County wanted to avenge their loss from the last time they played May River, they should've done a better job of containing Jordan Green. The Sharks walked away with a 38-31 win over the Cougars on Tuesday for which the team can thank Green, who dropped a double-double with 11 points and 11 rebounds. She is becoming a predictor of May River's success: when she posts at least ten boards the team is 2-1 (and 7-8 when she doesn't).

Another player making a difference was Aiyana Partridge, who posted eight points and four steals. She has been hot recently, having posted two or more steals the last three times she's played.

The victory got May River back to even at 9-9. As for Colleton County, their defeat dropped their record down to 12-8.

Looking ahead, May River and Whale Branch will face off at 6:30 p.m. on Wednesday without much rest, having both just played. As for Colleton County, they will head out on the road to square off against Bishop England at 6:00 p.m. on Friday.
