Volleyball Recap: East Kentwood Comes Up Short + How To Watch

East Kentwood was not able to break out of their rough patch on Thursday as the team picked up their eighth straight defeat. They came up short against the Rockford Rams, falling 3-0. Unfortunately, that's the second time they've come up short against the Rams this season, as they also lost their prior matchup 3-0 on October 2nd.

The final score came out to 25-10, 25-5, 25-11.

Rockford can attribute much of their success to Anna Dady, who had 12 digs and two aces. Dady is on a roll when it comes to digs, as she's now had 11 or more in each of the last four games she's played. Elisa Venturini also deserves some recognition as she served her first aces of the season.

East Kentwood's loss dropped their record down to 4-27-1. As for Rockford, the win (which was their 14th in a row) raised their record to 34-1.

Coming up, East Kentwood will head out on the road to square off against Hudsonville at 7:00 p.m. on Tuesday. As for Rockford, they will square off against Northview at 8:30 a.m. on Saturday.
