Soccer Recap: Pinellas Park Has No Trouble Against Clearwater

It can be hard to translate regular season success to the playoffs, but Pinellas Park had no problem doing just that on Wednesday. They put the hurt on the Clearwater Tornadoes with a sharp 7-1 victory. Even though the Patriots got in a bit of trouble with the refs ( Patience Bahamondes was handed a red card), the team managed to overcome the adversity.

Pinellas Park hit Clearwater with a four-pronged attack, as the team got scores from Alexandra Ralph (3), Bahamondes (2), Kayla Carvalho, and Nadiyah Martin.

The win got Pinellas Park back to even at 7-7-2. As for Clearwater, they are on a four-game losing streak that has dropped them down to 1-13.

Pinellas Park didn't take long to hit the pitch again: they've already played their next match, an 8-0 loss against St. Petersburg on the 24th. Clearwater does not have any more games scheduled as of now.
