Basketball Recap: Globe's Win Ends Nine-Game Losing Streak on the Road

After having lost a blowout in their previous game against Seton Catholic, Globe was happy to have turned things around on Thursday. They took down the Apache Junction Prospectors 51-36. The victory was a breath of fresh air for the Tigers as it put an end to their three-game losing streak.

When it comes to explaining why Apache Junction lost, don't look at Isabella Winn. Despite the final result, she posted 33 points along with six boards and four steals. Those 33 points gave Winn a new career-high.

Globe's win ended a nine-game drought on the road and puts them at 6-19. As for Apache Junction, they have traveled a rocky road recently having lost eight of their last nine matchups, which put a noticeable dent in their 2-15 record this season.
