Baseball Recap: Colbert County Gets the Win

Colbert County won the last time they faced Clements and things went their way on Saturday too. The Colbert County Indians came out on top against the Clements Colts by a score of 9-6. The win made it back-to-back victories for the Indians.

The team relied heavily on Brody King, who went 2-for-3 with five RBI and one double. Those five RBI gave him a new career-high. Another player making a difference was Dylan Castle, who scored three runs and stole a base while going 2-for-4.

Colbert County's victory bumped their record up to 2-4. As for Clements, their defeat dropped their record down to 4-3.

Both teams will have to hit the road in their upcoming games. Colbert County will head out to take on Red Bay at 4:30 a.m. on Monday. As for Clements, they will face off against Wilson at 4:30 p.m. on Tuesday.
