After a string of four wins, Metro Tech's good fortune finally ran out on Monday. They came up short against the Casa Grande Cougars, falling 9-1. The Knights were not able to make up for their loss to the Cougars from their previous meeting back in November of 2017.

Metro Tech's goal came courtesy of Briseida Castro, which was the first she's scored this season.

Metro Tech's defeat dropped their record down to 4-8-1. As for Casa Grande, the victory was the third in a row for them, bringing their record for this year to 6-4.

Metro Tech wasted no time getting back out on the pitch and has already played their next matchup, a 4-0 loss against Alhambra on the 29th. Casa Grande has also already played their next contest, a 2-0 defeat against Catalina Foothills on the 29th.
