Basketball Game Preview: Patrick Henry Rebels vs. Honaker Tigers

Patrick Henry is 1-9 against Honaker since January of 2016 but they'll have a chance to close the gap a little bit on Tuesday. The Patrick Henry Rebels will host the Honaker Tigers at 7:30 p.m. Patrick Henry will be looking to extend their current ten-game winning streak.

Last Friday, Patrick Henry didn't have too much trouble with Chilhowie as they won 61-46.

Meanwhile, Honaker was not able to break out of their rough patch on Monday as the team picked up their third straight defeat. They took a 55-42 hit to the loss column at the hands of Rural Retreat.

Patrick Henry pushed their record up to 17-2 with the win, which was their eighth straight at home dating back to last season. They've dominated over that stretch too, winning by an average of 36.6 points. As for Honaker, their loss dropped their record down to 2-18.

Everything came up roses for Patrick Henry against Honaker when the teams last played back in January, as the team secured an 89-34 victory. Will Patrick Henry repeat their success, or does Honaker have a new game plan this time around? We'll find out soon enough.
