Basketball Game Preview: Hagerty Huskies vs. Wekiva Mustangs + How To Watch

Having just played yesterday, the Hagerty Huskies will get right back to it and host the Wekiva Mustangs at 7:30 p.m. on Wednesday. Hagerty has given up an average of 52.9 points per game this season, but Wednesday's game will give them a chance to turn things around.

Hagerty will bounce into Wednesday's game after beating Seminole, who they had gone 1-8 against in their nine prior meetings. The Huskies strolled past the Seminoles with points to spare on Tuesday, taking the game 77-63.

Asa Kohn continued his habit of posting crazy stat lines, dropping a double-double with 24 points and ten rebounds. The contest was his 18th in a row with at least 15 points. Ewan Winkler was another key player, putting up nine points in addition to six assists and five boards.

Hagerty was working as a unit and finished the game with 20 assists. They racked up six more assists than Seminole's also-impressive total of 14.

Meanwhile, it looked like the Kentucky Derby when Wekiva duked it out with North Marion on Saturday. The Mustangs lost 62-37 to the Colts. The matchup marked the Mustangs' lowest-scoring game so far this season.

Wekiva has been struggling recently as they've lost three of their last four contests. That's put a noticeable dent in their 5-3 record this season. As for Hagerty, their victory bumped their record up to 6-2.

Hagerty skirted past Wekiva 49-47 in their previous meeting back in December of 2024. Do the Huskies have another victory up their sleeve, or will the Mustangs turn the tables on them? We'll have the answer soon enough.
