Recap: Fairborn Skyhawks vs. Stebbins Indians

This season hasn't been kind to the Fairborn Skyhawks, who are still winless after their 13th game. They fell 39-27 to Stebbins on Saturday. The loss unfortunately continues a disappointing trend for Fairborn in their matchups with Stebbins: they've now lost four in a row.

Stebbins found their leader in underclassman Aubrey Fritz, who dropped a double-double on 15 points and 12 rebounds. Tori Kielbaso was another key contributor, scoring 12 points.

Fairborn bumped their record down to 0-13 with that loss, which was their eighth straight at home. Those losses could be blamed on the team's offensive performance across that stretch, as they only averaged 23.4 points per game. As for Stebbins, they are on a roll lately: they've won five of their last six contests, which provided a nice bump to their 8-5 record this season.

Both teams will have to hit the road in their upcoming games. Fairborn will square off against West Carrollton at 6:00 p.m. on Wednesday. West Carrollton is coming into the game hot, having won their last four games. As for Stebbins, they will head out on the road to challenge Piqua at 6:00 p.m. on Wednesday. Piqua comes in on a streak of failing to score more than 25 points in their last four games, a trend the squad is of course eager to reverse.
