Jariel Cobb Delivers Best Performance of Season

On Friday, Reidsville got the W thanks in part to Jariel Cobb playing the best football he has all season. Cobb rushed for 227 yards and four touchdowns while picking up 8.4 yards per carry, and also picked up 52 receiving yards and a touchdown. He also deserves a shoutout for his performance on D, forcing a fumble and making three total tackles.

Walkertown's probably not too fond of Cobb given he always seems to get the better of them. When Cobb last faced the Wolfpack back in October of 2023, he rushed for 77 yards and two touchdowns.

Big Game from Kelly As Walkertown Fell 41-26

Cam Kelly's rushing tear continued on Friday as he dropped his eighth-straight game with 103+ rushing yards. He rushed for 167 yards and two touchdowns.

Walkertown's loss ended a four-game streak of wins at home dating back to last season and dropped them to 6-2. Kelly and Walkertown will head out on the road to face off against McMichael at 7:30 p.m. on Friday.

Amare Mitchell Turns in Season-Best Performance

North Forsyth was led to victory by Amare Mitchell, who turned in his biggest game of the season on Friday. Mitchell rushed for 58 yards and a touchdown, and also threw for 94 yards and two touchdowns.

North Forsyth's win ended a three-game drought on the road and puts them at 4-5. Mitchell and North Forsyth will face off against Morehead at 7:30 p.m. on Friday.

Cherry Posts Huge Game in 49-0 Victory

West Stokes found a leader in Aydden Cherry as the squad took down McMichael on Friday. Cherry did his part (and then some), rushing for 87 yards and three touchdowns on only 11 carries for the 'W'.

West Stokes pushed their record up to 7-2 with the win, which was their seventh straight at home dating back to last season. Cherry and West Stokes will have some time to savor their victory since their next game is a little ways off: they'll take on Walkertown at 7:30 p.m. on November 1st.
