Basketball Game Preview: Schuylkill Haven Hurricanes vs. Tri-Valley Bulldogs

Schuylkill Haven and Tri-Valley are an even 5-5 against one another since February of 2021, but not for long. The Schuylkill Haven Hurricanes will be playing in front of their home fans against the Tri-Valley Bulldogs at 7:30 p.m. on Tuesday. Schuylkill Haven is coming into the match hot, having won their last four games.

Schuylkill Haven will head into Friday's contest hoping to keep the good times rolling: they proved they can win big on Tuesday (they won by 20) and on Friday they proved they can win the close ones too. They had just enough and edged Our Lady of Lourdes Regional out 52-50.

Multiple players turned in solid performances to lead Schuylkill Haven to victory, but perhaps none more so than Alan Evans, who went 8 for 17 en route to 21 points and five boards. That makes it nine consecutive games in which Evans has scored at least a third of Schuylkill Haven's points. Another player making a difference was Max Heim, who dropped a double-double on 14 points and 16 rebounds.

Meanwhile, there's no place like home for Tri-Valley, who bounced back after a loss on the road on Thursday. They took down Weatherly 70-52 on Friday.

Tri-Valley's victory bumped their record up to 14-5. As for Schuylkill Haven, their win bumped their record up to 10-11.
