Softball Recap: Lewis County Minutemen vs. Gilmer County Titans
Lewis County got themselves on the board against Gilmer County on Wednesday, but Gilmer County never followed suit. They sure made it a nail-biter, but they managed to escape with a 2-0 victory over the Gilmer County Titans. Winning may never get old, but Lewis County sure is getting used to it with their fifth in a row.
The result came thanks to Macey Franklin's shutout, as she gave up just two hits and racked up six Ks.
On the hitting side, Courtney Boggs was excellent, going 1-for-3 with a triple and two RBI.
