The Live Oak Acorns's recent rough patch got a bit rougher on Friday after their third straight loss. They received a tough blow as they fell 61-43 to Gilroy. Live Oak has not had much luck with Gilroy recently, as the team's come up short the last two times they've met.
When it comes to explaining why Live Oak lost, one person who can't be blamed is Austin Jennings. Despite the final result, he scored 14 points along with 5 rebounds. Another player making a difference was Nathan Lozano, who scored 8 points along with 3 steals.
Live Oak's defeat dropped their record down to 1-3. As for Gilroy, their win bumped their record up to 2-5.
