Basketball Game Preview: Kelliher/Northome Mustangs vs. Red Lake Warriors

Kelliher/Northome hasn't had much luck against Red Lake recently, but that could start to change on Monday. The Kelliher/Northome Mustangs will host the Red Lake Warriors at 7:00 p.m. One thing working in Kelliher/Northome's favor is that they have posted at least 55 points in their last seven games.

Kelliher/Northome will bounce into Monday's match after beating Pine River-Backus, who they had gone 1-8 against in their nine prior meetings. Kelliher/Northome took down Pine River-Backus 83-69 on Friday.

Meanwhile, Red Lake had to suffer through a 112-40 loss at the hands of Cherry. While losing is never fun, the Warriors can't take it too hard given the team's big disadvantage in MaxPreps' Minnesota basketball rankings (they are ranked 283rd, while the Tigers are ranked ninth).

The victory got Kelliher/Northome back to even at 10-10. As for Red Lake, their defeat dropped their record down to 8-10.
