Basketball Recap: Fallsburg Takes a Loss

Fallsburg was not able to break out of their rough patch on Monday as the team picked up their seventh straight loss. The matchup between them and the Chester Hambletonians didn't end well, with the Fallsburg Comets falling 57-42. The Comets were probably out for revenge after losing 58-38 to them when the teams met back in February of 2024, then they'll just have to keep looking.

Fallsburg's defeat dropped their record down to 1-9. As for Chester, they are on a roll lately: they've won four of their last five contests, which provided a nice bump to their 8-4 record this season.

Both squads are looking forward to the support of their home crowds in their upcoming games. Fallsburg will welcome Beacon at 5:45 p.m. on Thursday. Beacon will roll in looking for their fifth straight win, something Fallsburg surely won't give up without a fight. As for Chester, they will look to defend their home court on Thursday against Tri-Valley at 6:30 p.m.
