Football Recap: Reagan Takes a Tough Playoff Loss

Reagan and Coral Reef squared off in some playoff action on Thursday, but Reagan had to settle for second. They took a 19-14 hit to the loss column at the hands of the Barracudas. The loss continues a trend for the Bison in their meetings with the Barracudas: they've now lost seven in a row.

Coral Reef's success was the result of a balanced attack that saw several players step up, but Izaiah Roque led the charge by rushing for 73 yards, while also throwing for 76 yards and a pair of touchdowns. Those 76 passing yards gave Roque a new career-high. Another back making a difference was Sebastian Reglado, who rushed for 91 yards and one score.

Reagan's defeat dropped their record down to 5-2. As for Coral Reef, they are on a roll lately: they've won five of their last six games. That's provided a nice bump to their 8-2 record this season.

As of now, neither Reagan nor Coral Reef have any future games scheduled.
