Softball Recap: Marion Black Knights vs. Clyde-Savannah Golden Eagles
Marion had to kick off their season on the road on Wednesday, but they showed no ill effects. They blew past the Clyde-Savannah Golden Eagles 27-8. That result was just more of the same for these two, as Marion also won the last time the pair played back in April of 2023.
For Clyde-Savannah's part, Olivia Drahms was cooking despite her team's loss, going 2-for-3 with two runs, a triple, and two RBI. Chayce Stocks was another key contributor, scoring two runs while going 2-for-2.
Both squads will have to hit the road in their upcoming games. Marion will challenge East Rochester at 4:30 p.m. on Thursday. As for Clyde-Savannah, they will head out on the road to take on North Rose-Wolcott at 4:30 p.m. on Monday.
