Soccer Recap: Calhoun Takes a Loss

If Calhoun was riding high fresh off their 3-0 takedown of Columbus last Tuesday, their most recent game may have dampened their spirits a bit. The Calhoun Sandcrabs took a 2-0 hit to the loss column at the hands of the Hallettsville Brahmas on Friday. The Sandcrabs haven't had much luck with the Brahmas recently, as the team has come up short the last four times they've met.

Calhoun now has a losing record of 10-11-2. As for Hallettsville, they are on a roll lately: they've won six of their last seven matches. That's provided a nice bump to their 12-6 record this season.

Calhoun does not have any more games scheduled as of now. As for Hallettsville, they will face off against Bay City at 5:30 p.m. on Monday. One thing working in Bay City's favor is that they have posted at least four goals in their last five games.
