Baseball Recap: Lyndhurst Comes Up Short

Lyndhurst lost against Emerson back in April of 2024, and unfortunately they wound up with the same result on Wednesday. The Golden Bears fell just short of the Cavaliers by a score of 4-3.

Ryan Lemanowicz made the most of his time at bat despite the final result and went 2-for-3 with two doubles and two RBI. Matt Jarvis also deserves some recognition as he got his first hit of the season.

Lyndhurst's defeat dropped their record down to 7-5. As for Emerson, their win bumped their record up to 3-10-1.

Both squads will have to hit the road in their upcoming games. Lyndhurst will take on Rutherford at 4:00 p.m. on Friday. The Bulldogs will roll in looking for their fourth straight victory, something the Golden Bears surely won't give up without a fight. As for Emerson, they will square off against Ridgefield Memorial at 4:00 p.m. on Thursday.
