Football Recap: Thompson Takes Down Ranked Prattville + How To Watch

Thompson faced Prattville in a battle between two of the state's top teams on Friday. The Warriors took down the Lions 29-15. The Warriors have seen this before: they got the W the last time they saw the Lions, too.

Thompson found their leader in sophomore Urijah Casey, who rushed for 102 yards and two TDs. Those 102 rushing yards set a new season-high mark for Casey. Thompson also got help from Pryce Lewis, who showed off his sure hands for 98 receiving yards.

Thompson's victory bumped their record up to 7-3. As for Prattville, their defeat dropped their record down to 5-4.

Thompson does not have any more games scheduled as of now. As for Prattville, they will challenge JAG at 7:00 p.m. on Friday. The Lions will be up against the Jaguars' rather soft defense (which has allowed 48.22 points per contest), so fans could be in store for a big offensive performance.
