Soccer Game Preview: Buffalo vs. Elk River + How To Watch

The Buffalo Bison will take on the Elk River Elks at 1:00 p.m. on Saturday. Elk River took a loss in their last matchup and will be looking to turn the tables on Buffalo, who comes in off a win.

On Tuesday, Buffalo was able to grind out a solid win over Hopkins, taking the game 3-1. Given Buffalo's advantage in MaxPreps' Minnesota soccer rankings (they are ranked second, while Hopkins are ranked 96th) , the result wasn't entirely unexpected.

Meanwhile, Elk River was not able to break out of their rough patch on Thursday as the team picked up their 11th straight loss. They lost 5-1 to Rogers. Surprisingly, this marked Elk River's fourth straight game in which the away team has come away the victor.

Buffalo is on a roll lately: they've won six of their last eight matches. That's provided a nice bump to their 10-0-4 record this season. As for Elk River, their defeat dropped their record down to 1-13.
