Soccer Recap: Archbishop Alter Comes Up Short

Archbishop Alter lost against Centerville back in August of 2024, and unfortunately they wound up with the same result on Wednesday. The Knights fell just short of the Elks by a score of 2-1.

Archbishop Alter's goal came courtesy of Atuganile Mwamukonda, who's now up to two this season.

Archbishop Alter's defeat dropped their record down to 1-1. As for Centerville, they have started the season off flawlessly and has a 2-0 record to show for it.

Both teams will have to hit the road in their upcoming games. Archbishop Alter will head out to challenge Shawnee at 1:00 p.m. on Saturday. As for Centerville, they will venture away from home to take on Lakota East at 7:00 p.m. on Saturday.
