Milton-Union's game last Friday was a loss, but they didn't let that memory haunt them on Friday. They took their game with ease, bagging a 46-13 win over the Troy Christian Eagles. With the Bulldogs ahead 40-7 at the half, the contest was all but over already.

Milton-Union's victory was a true team effort, with many players turning in solid performances. Perhaps the best among them was Charlie Lane, who rushed for 110 yards and one TD on only 12 carries. Lane's rushing production has been exceptional recently as that marked his fourth straight game with at least 110 rushing yards. Jaxon Strickland was another key rusher, rushing for 40 yards and a pair of scores.

They were just one part of a punishing run game: Milton-Union was unstoppable on the ground and finished the game with 322 rushing yards. They are 2-1 when they've run for more than 200 yards.

Milton-Union didn't go easy on the quarterback and picked off four passes before the game was over. It was truly a group effort as Michael Brady, Seth Lowry, Strickland, and Lane picked up one apiece.

Milton-Union's win ended a five-game drought on the road dating back to last season and puts them at 2-5. As for Troy Christian, their loss dropped their record down to 0-7.

Both squads are looking forward to the support of their home crowds in their upcoming games. Milton-Union will face off against Miami East at 7:00 p.m. on Friday. The Bulldogs will need to watch out since the Vikings have now posted at least 31 points in their last three matchups. As for Troy Christian, they will challenge Riverside at 7:00 p.m. on Friday.
