Volleyball Recap: Oak Ridge Gets the Win

Oak Ridge won the last time they faced Mayde Creek and things went their way on Thursday too. The War Eagles walked away with a 2-0 victory over the Rams. The win made it back-to-back victories for the War Eagles.

Leila Ceaser paced Oak Ridge's offense, picking up six kills. Ceaser got some help from Samantha Daley and her ten assists.

Oak Ridge has also opened the season with a perfect 2-0 record. As for Mayde Creek, their defeat dropped their record down to 1-1.

Oak Ridge wasted no time getting back out on the court and has already played their next contest, a 2-0 win against Fort Bend Austin on the 14th. As for Mayde Creek, they also didn't take long to hit the court again: they've already played their next game, a 2-0 loss against Bridgeland on the 14th.
