Baseball Recap: Humphreys Academy Takes a Loss

Humphreys Academy was not able to break out of their rough patch on Monday as the team picked up their sixth straight defeat. They lost 14-4 to the Washington Generals. Unfortunately, that's the second time they've come up short against the Generals this season, as they also lost their prior matchup 20-10 last Tuesday.

Humphreys Academy's record is now 0-6. As for Washington, they are on a roll lately: they've won five of their last six games. That's provided a nice bump to their 14-4 record this season.

Humphreys Academy will get a bit of extra time to process the loss as their next game is a ways off. They'll take on Central Holmes Christian at 5:00 p.m. on April 8. As for Washington, they will challenge St. Joseph at 6:00 p.m. on Tuesday. This will be Washington's first chance to prove their worth in the conference.
