Basketball Game Preview: Clear Falls Knights vs. Clear Creek Wildcats

The Clear Falls Knights will head out to take on the Clear Creek Wildcats at 7:00 p.m. on Wednesday. Clear Falls is coming into the game hot, having won their last four games.

If Clear Falls beats Clear Creek with 63 points on Wednesday, it's going to be the squad's new lucky number: they've won their past two matchups with that exact score. Clear Falls was the clear victor by a 63-43 margin over Brazoswood on Friday. Given the Knights' advantage in MaxPreps' Texas basketball rankings (they are ranked 181st, while the Buccaneers are ranked 745th), the result wasn't entirely unexpected.

Meanwhile, Clear Creek earned a 49-38 win over Deer Park on Friday.

Clear Falls has also been performing well recently as they've won five of their last six contests, which provided a nice bump to their 19-9 record this season. As for Clear Creek, their victory bumped their record up to 12-17.

Clear Falls beat Clear Creek 41-34 in their previous meeting back in December of 2024. The rematch might be a little tougher for Clear Falls since the team won't have the home-court advantage this time around. We'll see if the change in venue makes a difference.
