Xavier Prep lost against La Quinta back in October of 2024 and unfortunately they wound up with the same result on Friday. The contest between the Saints and the Blackhawks didn't end well, with the Saints falling 28-14. The Saints' loss signaled the end of their three-game winning streak.

Although Xavier Prep took the loss, they still got scores from Ben Langlois and Kingston Pellum.

La Quinta's win was the result of several impressive offensive performances. One of the most notable came from Colton LaCrone, who rushed for 147 yards and two TDs. LaCrone didn't just play on offense: he also made four total tackles and defended one pass. Roman Ansley was another key player, rushing for 65 yards and a pair of touchdowns on only nine carries.

Xavier Prep's defeat dropped their record down to 5-2. As for La Quinta, their record is now an identical 5-2.
