Wando is 8-2 against Porter-Gaud since October of 2021 and they'll have a chance to extend that dominance on Thursday. The Warriors will head out on the road to square off against the Cyclones at 6:00 p.m. Wando will be strutting in after a victory while Porter-Gaud will be coming in after a loss.

Wando is coming in fresh off a high-stakes matchup with another one of South Carolina's top teams: Lucy Beckham, who was ranked 13th at the time (Wando was ranked seventh). The Warriors came out on top against the Bengals by a score of 3-1 on Tuesday. The win continues a trend for the Warriors in their matchups with the Bengals: they've now won three in a row.

Once all was said and done, the final score wound up at 25-19, 25-19, 23-25, 25-17.

Meanwhile, Porter-Gaud didn't have quite enough to beat River Bluff on Saturday and fell 2-1. The Cyclones have struggled against the Gators recently, as the game was their fourth consecutive lost matchup.

Wando's victory bumped their record up to 31-10. As for Porter-Gaud, their defeat dropped their record down to 21-16.

Wando was able to grind out a solid win over Porter-Gaud in their previous matchup on Friday, winning 2-0. The rematch might be a little tougher for the Warriors since the team won't have the home-court advantage this time around. We'll see if the change in venue makes a difference.
