Volleyball Recap: Franklin Takes a Loss

Franklin was the 3-0 winner over Wilmington when they last played one another back in September of 2023, but their luck changed this time around. The Knights fell just short of the Greyhounds by a score of 3-2 on Monday. Knights fans who chose to attend the game sure picked the wrong one: it was the first time the team has lost against the Greyhounds since Monday.

Franklin has been struggling recently as they've lost four of their last five matches. That's put a noticeable dent in their 6-10 record this season. As for Wilmington, the victory was the eighth in a row for them, bringing their record up to 12-7.

Both squads will have to hit the road in their upcoming matchups. Franklin will venture away from home to square off against Oil City at 7:15 p.m. on Tuesday. As for Wilmington, they will head out to challenge Jamestown at 7:15 p.m. on Tuesday.
