Basketball Recap: Lejeune Devil Pups vs. Southside Seahawks
Lejeune waltzed into their contest on Tuesday with two straight wins... but they left with three. They strolled past the Southside Seahawks with points to spare, taking the game 74-58. That's the third time they've managed to beat them this season, with their most recent victory being a 80-46 win two weeks ago.
Lejeune's win was the result of several impressive offensive performances. One of the most notable came from Connor Shea, who almost dropped a double-double with 18 points and nine rebounds. Shea has been hot recently, having also posted two or more steals the last four times he's played. Another player making a difference was Sebastian Dorelien, who dropped a double-double with 15 points and ten boards.
Several Seahawks players turned in solid performances despite ultimately coming up short. Perhaps the best among those players was Jeremiah Satchell, who went 10-for-13 to rack up 27 points. That's the most points Satchell has posted since back in December of 2024. The team also got some help courtesy of Josh Armstrong, who went 7-for-11 on his way to 16 points along with five rebounds and three steals.
