Softball Recap: Capitan Comes Up Short

Capitan fought the good fight in their extra-innings contest against Hozho Academy on Friday but wound up with a less-than-desirable result. They fell just short of the Wolves by a score of 4-3. The Tigers' loss continues a trend for the squad, making it three in a row.

Capitan saw four different players step up and record at least one hit. One of them was Cambree West, who went 1-for-4 with one RBI.

Capitan's defeat dropped their record down to 1-4. As for Hozho Academy, the win keeps they at an undefeated 10-0.

Capitan has already played their next matchup, a 13-0 victory against Hot Springs on the 4th. As for Hozho Academy, they also didn't take long to hit the field again: they've already played their next game, a 14-3 loss against Loving on the 4th.
