Soccer Recap: Flat Rock Takes a Loss

If Flat Rock was riding high fresh off their 6-0 takedown of St. Mary Catholic Central on Monday, their most recent game may have dampened their spirits a bit. While the 0-0 score might suggest a draw, it was the Riverview Pirates who were credited with the victory on Wednesday. Unfortunately, that's the second time they've come up short against they this season, as they also lost their prior matchup 5-2 two weeks ago.

Flat Rock's defeat dropped their record down to 9-8. As for Riverview, they have been performing incredibly well recently as they've won five of their last six contests. That's provided a massive bump to their 8-5-1 record this season.

Flat Rock will head out on the road to face off against Garden City at 6:00 p.m. on Monday. As for Riverview, they wasted no time getting back out on the pitch and have already played their next game, a 1-0 win against Woodhaven on the 9th.
