Football Recap: Canyon Hills Skates Past Rock Academy with Ease

There's no place like home for Canyon Hills, who bounced back after a loss on the road last Friday. They simply couldn't be stopped on Friday as they easily beat the Rock Academy Warriors 40-0. The Rattlers not only won on Friday, but they posted their biggest win since August 30, 2024 (when they won 48-7).

Canyon Hills' win was the result of several impressive offensive performances. One of the most notable came from Makahi Fields-Cook, who rushed for 194 yards and a pair of touchdowns on only 13 carries. Fields-Cook's longest rush was for an incredible 87 yards. Josiah Singh was another key passer, throwing for 156 yards and four TDs.

The victory got Canyon Hills back to even at 1-1. As for Rock Academy, this is the second loss in a row for them and nudges their season record down to 0-2.

Both squads are looking forward to the support of their home crowds in their upcoming games. Canyon Hills will take on El Cajon Valley at 7:00 p.m. on Friday. As for Rock Academy, they will challenge Foothills Christian at 7:00 p.m. on Friday.
