Volleyball Recap: Shayna Manning Key Part of Team Effort in Indians Win

Palm Springs won the last time they faced Shadow Hills and things went their way on Wednesday too. The Indians blew past the Knights 3-0. The victory made it back-to-back wins for the Indians.

While Palm Springs won a shutout, things came down to the wire in the first set they played. The match finished with set scores of 25-23, 25-8, 25-19.

Palm Springs' win was the result of several impressive offensive performances. One of the most notable came from Shayna Manning, who had 11 kills, eight digs, four aces, and one block. That's the most kills Manning has posted over her last six contests. The team also got some help courtesy of Izzy Byers, who had 23 digs and one block.

Palm Springs' victory bumped their record up to 16-6. As for Shadow Hills, they have been struggling recently as they've lost seven of their last eight matches. That's put a noticeable dent in their 9-14 record this season.
