Basketball Recap: Montville Takes a Loss

Montville was not able to break out of their rough patch on Friday as the team picked up their third straight defeat. They took a blow against the Stonington Bears, falling 84-34. While losing is never fun, the Wolves can't take it too hard given the team's big disadvantage in MaxPreps' Connecticut basketball rankings (they are ranked 112th, while the Bears are ranked 31st).

Montville's loss dropped their record down to 5-9. As for Stonington, the victory (which was their fifth in a row) raised their record to 6-4.

While Montville had to take the loss, they won't have to wait long to give it another shot: the pair will be back at it again later today.
