Basketball Game Preview: Millikan Rams vs. Harvard-Westlake Wolverines + How To Watch

The Millikan Rams will head out to face off against the Harvard-Westlake Wolverines at 5:30 p.m. on Tuesday. Expect the scorekeeper to be kept busy: if their previous games are any indication, these teams will really light up the scoreboard.

On Friday, Millikan was within striking distance but couldn't close the gap as they fell 75-71 to Inglewood. The Rams haven't had much luck with the Sentinels recently, as the team has come up short the last three times they've met.

Even though the team lost, they still had their share of impressive performances. One of the best came from Joseph Wicker, who dropped a double-double with 20 points and ten rebounds. He is also on a roll when it comes to three-point shooting accuracy, as he's posted one of at least 40% in the last three games he's played dating back to last season. Jeremiah Hunt was another key player, almost dropping a double-double with 16 points and nine assists.

Meanwhile, Harvard-Westlake and St. John Bosco (ranked 11th and 13th in the MaxPreps national rankings respectively) squared off in a high-profile matchup on Saturday. The Wolverines fell just short of the Braves by a score of 57-55.

Harvard-Westlake's loss dropped their record down to 1-1. As for Millikan, their defeat dropped their record down to 0-2.

Millikan took a serious blow against Harvard-Westlake in their previous meeting back in November of 2024, falling 84-47. Can the Rams avenge their loss or is history doomed to repeat itself? We'll find out soon enough.
