Volleyball Recap: Westminster Christian Academy Takes a Loss

Westminster Christian Academy was not able to break out of their rough patch on Tuesday as the team picked up their sixth straight defeat. They took a 2-0 hit to the loss column at the hands of the West Morgan Rebels. The Wildcats were given a dose of their own medicine in this game as the Rebels apparently hadn't forgotten their loss the last time these teams played back in October of 2022.

The final score came out to 25-16, 25-20.

Tiyah Reed paced Westminster Christian Academy's offense, picking up eight kills. Reed got some help from Azlyn Leatherwood and her seven assists.

Westminster Christian Academy's defeat dropped their record down to 4-8. As for West Morgan, with the victory, they broke their four-game losing streak and moved their record to 11-13.

Westminster Christian Academy has already played their next game (against Ardmore), but no score has been uploaded at the time of writing. As for West Morgan, they have also already played their next matchup, a 2-0 loss against East Limestone on the 9th.
