Bridgeport extended their home winning streak to six games thanks to a huge performance from Gage Nein. The Bridgeport Bulldogs came out on top against the Morrill Lions by a score of 54-41 on Friday thanks to Nein, who went 5-for-7 en route to 18 points and six assists. The dominant performance also gave him a new career-high in three-point shooting accuracy (83%).

Landon Dean was another key player, putting up nine points and five boards. He is also on a roll when it comes to shooting accuracy, as he's posted one of at least 46% in the last three games he's played.

Morrill's loss came despite a true team effort with many players turning in solid performances. Perhaps the best among them was Wyler Fisher, who went 6-for-10 to rack up 15 points. That was a full 36.6% of Morrill's points, marking the fourth time in a row Fisher has posted more than a third of the team's points. Another player making a difference was Ashwin Pittman, who earned 17 points.

Bridgeport is on a roll lately: they've won 12 of their last 13 contests. That's provided a nice bump to their 17-7 record this season. Those victories came thanks in part to their offensive performance across that stretch, as they averaged 58.2 points over those games. Morrill is on a four-game losing streak that has dropped them down to 15-8.

Looking ahead, Bridgeport will challenge Mitchell at 6:30 p.m. on Monday. As for Morrill, they won't have much time to rest: their next match is against Niobrara County at 2:00 p.m. on Saturday. Niobrara County will roll in looking for their fourth straight win, something Morrill surely won't give up without a fight.
