Emerson won the last time they faced Liberty and things went their way on Monday too. Emerson blew past Liberty 10-1. With that win, the Mavericks brought their scoring average up to 6.1 runs per game.

Addison Hudnall made a big impact while hitting and pitching. She didn't allow a single earned run while striking out 13 over seven innings pitched. She has been nothing but reliable on the mound: she hasn't tossed less than seven strikeouts in three consecutive appearances. She was also solid in the batter's box, going 2-for-4 with one home run and two RBI. That home run marked the first that she launched this season.
