Baseball Recap: Central Falls Short of Ranburne in the Playoffs

Central and Ranburne squared off in some playoff action on Friday, but Central had to settle for second. They came up short against the Bulldogs, falling 11-0. Unfortunately, that's the second time they've come up short against the Bulldogs this season, as they also lost their prior matchup 13-0 on Friday.

Central's defeat dropped their record down to 5-5. As for Ranburne, they are on a roll lately: they've won eight of their last ten contests. That's provided a massive bump to their 16-17 record this season.

While Central had to take the loss, they won't have to wait long to give it another shot: the pair will be back at it again later today.
